M2 macrophages contribute to cell proliferation and migration of breast cancer

چکیده
Breast cancer is a kind of malignant tumor that severely threatens women's lives and health worldwide. Tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) have been reported to mediate progression, while the mechanism still needs further identification. In this study, we found M2 promoted increased cell proliferation migration as well reduced expression interferon regulatory factor 7 (IRF7) miR-1587 in breast cells. Overexpression IRF7 or knockdown reversed macrophage-induced growth vivo. Mechanistically, targeted 3ʹ-untranslated region (3ʹ-UTR) mRNA regulate its protein leading progression. Collectively, study revealed miR-1587/IRF7 axis mediates sheds light on clinical therapy for by targeting TAMs axis.

MiR-6165 Dysregulation in Breast Cancer and Its Effect on Cell Proliferation and Migration
Background: ncRNAs have been identified as oncogenic drivers and tumor suppressors in any type of cancer. Although many classes of ncRNAs have been reported, most studies have been performed on microRNAs (miRNAs). miRNAs can regulate several target genes and affect important processes such as homeostasis, angiogenesis, cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Located in the p75NTR ge...
متن کاملDysregulation of POPDC1 promotes breast cancer cell migration and proliferation
Breast cancer subtypes such as triple-negative that lack the expression of oestrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR) and human epidermal growth factor 2 receptor (HER2), remain poorly clinically managed due to a lack of therapeutic targets. This necessitates identification and validation of novel targets. Suppression of Popeye domain-containing protein 1 (POPDC1) is known to promote t...
متن کاملPEG10 promotes human breast cancer cell proliferation, migration and invasion.
Paternally expressed imprinted gene 10 (PEG10), derived from the Ty3/Gypsy family of retrotransposons, has been implicated as a genetic imprinted gene. Accumulating evidence suggests that PEG10 plays an important role in tumor growth in various cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma, lung cancer and prostate cancer. However, the correlation between PEG10 and breast cancer remains unclear. ...
متن کاملM2-polarized macrophages contribute to neovasculogenesis, leading to relapse of oral cancer following radiation
Despite the fact that radiation is one of the standard therapies in the treatment of patients with oral cancer, tumours can recur even in the early stages of the disease, negatively impacting prognosis and quality of life. We previously found that CD11b(+) bone marrow-derived cells (BMDCs) were recruited into human glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), leading to re-organization of the vasculature and...
متن کاملEffects of berberine on proliferation, cell cycle distribution and apoptosis of human breast cancer T47D and MCF7 cell lines
Objective(s):Berberine, a naturally occurring isoquinoline alkaloid, has shown antitumor properties in some in vitro systems. But the effect of berberine on breast cancer has not yet been completely studied. In this study, we evaluated anticancer properties of berberine in comparison to doxorubicin. Materials and Methods: The antiproliferative effects of berberine and doxorubicin alone and in ...
